First...

I am away from home on this first Mama's Day, feeling a bit melancholy. I am also feeling like the most fortunate person on Earth.

Aww, I'm sorry you were away from home on your first Mother's Day. :( But I know you were off doing something important for yourself, and that is very important. We need to show our daughters that we take care of ourselves, too. Hope you are able to have a little Mother's Day celebration on another day, and every day!
