I know almost all that lies ahead is unknown. Given that, here are all of my questions:
What kinds of questions will our Social Worker ask tomorrow? What do we still need to do to our house to make it more child-safe? Will I sleep tonight?
Boy? Girl? one of each? How old will they be when we bring them home? What will it feel like when when we first set eyes on them? Will they know any English? How long will this all take? What will it be like to meet the birth family?
What will be my first BIG mistake? I know... it won't be my last!!
Tomorrow is our first of a series of home study visits. I am not terribly nervous. Not sure if that is good or bad...??? Here we go...
